It’s the end of the year! And that means ‘Best of’ lists (which also means TONS of new books have been added to my wishlist). Here are the best books I read this year, regardless of pub date.

    1. Haha it’s okay, it was kind of a guilty pleasure book (Kiss of Deception). I’m reading Queen of the Tearling right now, which is kind of weird, but is enjoyable so far.

  1. Oh wow, I haven’t read any of these. (Except for half of Pride & Prejudice. Does that count?) Kiss of Deception and A Tale for the Time Being are both on my TBR list, though sadly, I don’t think I’ll get to them before year’s end. Great list! 🙂

    1. Well I’d say get reading! Obviously I loved all the books on this list. I thought Pride & Prejudice was very boring at times and don’t blame you for not finishing. It’s taken me about 10 years to finally get around to reading it (… the Keira Knightley movie came out 10 years ago… right?). I don’t hold the same regard for it as others, like Samantha 😛

      I know you like YA, so I would definitely recommend you pick up a print copy of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children if you can!
