A quick update

I know, I promised some reviews and new posts, and I meant it!

I’ve been busy working on a lot of different things because sometime during my senior year of college I developed an insane addiction to multitasking. Call it a symptom of the intense break-up I went through the summer prior to senior year, or call it whatever you want, but something in me snapped in August 2010.

I was no longer content with just maintaining school work and a social life. I maxxed out in the amount if credits you could take, involved myself in some very time consuming curriculars and got serious about partying. Nothing much changed the next year, when I took on studying for my Masters in Publishing, a parttime job, an internship and a busy social life.

Two years after college and a year since my Masters, I haven’t managed to kick the habit. I like to cultivate multiple hobbies. Right now I am, of course, back into reading and blogging, but I also intern for a great medium-sized publishing company in New York. And I work parttime. And I have started writing again in days when I’m not too completely wiped out.

I have come to realize that when I am unhappy with things I just throw myself into work until I reach breaking point. I haven’t broken yet so things are still going strong on the multitasking front.

Now, as I was saying, I’m working on a lot… But here are the books I am currently working on finishing up/writing reviews for right now:

A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness
The Boy Who Swan with Piranhas by David Almond
Bossypants by Tina Fey

I’m in the market for suggestions on what to read next, so drop me a line in the comments if you have any recs.
